The Infinix Hot 40S Play Price in Nigeria and Slot is 166,000 Naira, and this includes Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Rivers, Ogun, Oyo, Delta, Kaduna, Edo, Enugu, PortHarcourt, Ibadan, Benin, Owerri, Warri.
Infinix is expected to launch a toned-down ‘Play’ variant of the upcoming Hot 40S – here’s what we can surmise:
Design and Display
The Play will likely have a similar 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD but possibly without a high refresh rate for cost savings. Body design to remain basic plastic.
Hardware and Performance
An entry-level Unisoc T310 or Mediatek Helio A22 chip could power the Play with 2/3GB RAM for basic everyday tasks on a budget.
Cameras
The main camera may be dialed down to 13MP but selfie camera specs to stay similar. Basic shooting features are sufficient for the price.
Software and Battery
XOS interface on top of Android 12. Smaller 4000-4500mAh battery capacity. Charging likely remains basic 10W.
Price
The Play variant aims to hit an even more affordable price point than the Hot 40i. Expect it to be around $100 upon release.
Catering to first-time smartphone buyers, the Play has the potential to be a standout budget option if priced right for its modest but adequate specs. Performance may justify the cost.
