Infinix has launched a 4G version of the Note 40 Pro for those not needing 5G connectivity. Called the Note 40 Pro 4G, it cuts costs by retaining flagship specs at a more accessible price.

Design and Display

In terms of design, the Note 40 Pro 4G shares many similarities with its 5G sibling. It has the same 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and slim 7.8mm form factor. Build quality seems good with IP54 dust/water resistance. The screen also covers over 89% of the front with a crisp 1080p resolution.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood is the powerful MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset. This is paired with up to 12GB RAM for smooth multi-tasking. Storage is fixed at 256GB. Fuelling the phone is a sizable 5000mAh battery supporting 70W wired charging. Infinix claims 0-50% charge in just 20 minutes.

Cameras and Software

For photography, there is a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 108MP main sensor. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera. Video recording supports 1440p resolution. The phone runs Android 14-based XOS 14 out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

The Infinix Note 40 Pro 4G is more affordable than the 5G model, coming in at around 240 Euros. For those not needing 5G, it delivers flagship specs and features at an attractive price point.
