Infinix launched the Smart 7 (India) in February 2023. Here are my thoughts after reviewing the specs thoroughly:
Display
The 6.6-inch LCD screen has an HD+ resolution which is decent for the price. The 20:9 aspect ratio makes it good for viewing multimedia.
Design and Build
Available in three color options, the plastic build quality feels decent enough. At 207g, it’s somewhat lightweight despite its huge battery.
Performance
Powered by the Unisoc SC9863A1 chip, general usage is manageable. Don’t expect intensive gaming performance with 3GB/4GB RAM variants.
Cameras
The dual rear cameras are serviceable in good lighting. The 5MP front camera captures average selfies. Video is limited to 1080p30FPS.
Software and Battery
It runs XOS 12 based on Android 12. The massive 6000mAh battery provides phenomenal backup on a single charge.
Storage and Price
Comes in 64GB storage with 3GB/4GB RAM at affordable price points. MicroSD card support offers additional storage expansion.
Overall, the Infinix Smart 7 delivers long battery life for daily usage at an entry-level cost. While not for power users, it remains a practical buy on a tight budget.
